Cosmic Coffee and Beer Review

We are doing the best coffee shop in the south Austin segment and this place is definitely a contender. I am going to cosmic coffee right now and there's a Crux Climb and Jump and The Infinite Monkey Theorem Winery. So I come here a lot the mostly drink iced coffee and I think it is a good way to tell if the coffee is really good. So also the atmosphere, this place is up for atmosphere and coffee.

Cosmic Coffee and Beer is established by Austin native, Paul Oveisi. He was the owner of Momo's, a music venue that was located at Sixth Street that closed in 2011. As he returned to Austin from New York, he decided to combine his passion for sustainability, permaculture, and his hospitality background. Along with his friend and Cosmic co-owner Patrick Dean, Cosmic Coffee and Beer is now one of the leading coffee shops in Austin.

Cosmic Coffee + Beer is inspired by Austin's local culture and heritage and features food, coffee, live music, and sustainability. The coffee + beer garden offers amazingly good coffee that is locally roasted and sustainably sourced. There is also an exceptional mix of food trucks that are parked in their trailer garden. Pueblo Viejo serves the great tasting tacos. Leroy and Lewis make the best non-traditional barbecue with ingredients sourced from local farms and ranches.

Cosmic is also a nationally recognized wildlife habitat that provides food, shelter, and water for a variety of creatures. They provide a wonderful environment that embraces the principles of sustainability and regenerative systems. How? Well, rainwater is utilized for harvesting, they got chicken coops, on-site composting, biological ponds and more.

The rainwater fed pond is home to a variety of flora and fauna including edible plants, reptiles, and many more. Several honeybee hives harvest water throughout warm seasons. Birds also frequent the pond. Waterfall gardens host a variety of species and continuously grows for birds such as woodpeckers, songbirds and more. Did you know that the Great Blue Heron has even spotted them neighboring Alpine Pond?

Say hello to the chickens at their chicken coop! These roosters and hens have a major part in their system. They provide them with green waste from the food trucks, neighbors, and crew. They are fully enclosed in a corner of their lot but accessible for customers to visit.

Back to the specialties and the beautiful ambiance of Cosmic, you’ll definitely want to bring your friends here to enjoy great coffee, pastries, and drinks from beers to cocktails. Plenty of seating is available in and out, amazing live music, a classic koi pond, and a firepit. Dogs are also welcome in the area.
