Pflugerville ISD encompasses approximately 95 square miles and serves six areas including Pflugerville, Austin, Coupland, Hutto, Manor, and Round Rock. Pflugerville ISD serves over 25,300 students. The school district received a B District Grade with a score of 89 out of 100 and student performance for the STARR test was given a score of 82 out of 100.

Pflugerville ISD is located just northeast of Austin and includes 13 elementary schools, five middle schools, three high schools, and one alternative education center. The district has a student-teacher ratio of 15:1 and an average SAT score of 1270. Pflugerville ISD ranked as the #7 Best School District in Texas by Niche in 2017.
